Nery Palma Joins Bistro Provence as the New Executive Chef /
Food and Beverage Director
Bistro Provence is happy to announce that Nery Palma will be our new Executive Chef and Food and Beverage Manager. Nery Palma comes to Bistro with a wide range of experience at some of the top dining establishments in the state. With over 20 years in the industry, Palma has previously donned his culinary skills at well–known resorts such as The Citadel, The Carefree Conference Resort, The Scottsdale Conference Resort and The Arizona Biltmore.

Nery Palma is a founding member of the chefs association The American Culinary Federation. In the last 20 year, Palma has been the recipient of numerous prestigious culinary awards. Palma was selected by "Flavor of Phoenix" as one of the top 20 Chefs in the Valley. He was also presented with the Distinguished Restaurants of North America Award (DiRoNA Award) and of most significance Palma was named Chef of the Year for Culinaire International. Recently Palma was elected "Chef of the Year" for the Arizona chapter of The American Culinary Federation. Palma also prides himself on being actively involved with charity events, among them the Celebrity Chef Challenge-Waste Not, Flavor of Phoenix Culture Shock, Umom, Media Reception and The Scottsdale Culinary Festival.

Nery Palma will add his unique flare to the already popular dishes offered at Bistro Provence as well as introduce new items that are all his own. "Cooking is an expression of the soul, I hope to introduce new cuisine that will delight your palate and please your senses," says Palma. Bistro Provence is excited to bring on a Chef of this caliber and looks forward to the culinary secrets he may have up his sleeve. Palma plans to create frequent specials to keep the offering fresh and keep the customers coming back for seconds.
